Clitoral Hoodectomy

CLITORAL HOODECTOMY

The clitoris may look big or asymmetric, due to the excess skin around it, which can completely cover it. Often, hypertrophy or asymmetry coexists with hypertrophy of the labia minora.

Women may feel mild discomfort from friction and the use of tight clothing, while malodor and inflammation may develop in the area.

Clitoral hoodectomy relieves women of these problems and improves the quality of daily and sexual life.

Indications

Excess skin on the clitoral hood.

Duration of surgery: about 45 minutes.

Anesthesia type: local anesthesia, possibly with oral sedative.

No hospitalization is required

Operation

During clitoral surgery a small incision is performed with the use of high-precision laser and unnecessary skin around the clitoris is removed. The incision is stitched with very thin, invisible absorbable sutures that do not need removal. The procedure is painless and significantly improves the appearance of the woman's genital area.

After surgery:

  • You may return to your activities immediately
  • You can wash with cool water and neutral soap the next day
  • Avoid contact for 1 week.
