Benign Tumours

BENIGN TUMOURS OF THE SKIN AND SUBCUTANEOUS TISSUE

Many benign skin tumors can be removed with Laser quickly, painlessly and without scars. These include hyperkeratoses, dermal nevi (moles), warts, hemangiomas etc.

Other skin lesions require surgical removal by incision using a local anesthetic. Some lesions that are considered "suspicious" must be sent for histological examination (biopsy).

Finally, benign tumors of the subcutaneous tissue are removed by surgical incision after local anesthesia, and lipomas can often be removed by liposuction with very small incisions on the skin.

For  optimal aesthetic results and fast healing, follow the doctor's instructions for postoperative care of the incisions and sun protection.
